The APMG Change Management™ course is offered as a 3-day Foundation and 1.5 day Practitioner course. The current course content (a formal syllabus) is selected from the Effective Change Manager’s Handbook1 , which covers the scope of the Change Management Institute’s (CMI) Body of Knowledge.

The APM Group International’s Change Management qualification will equip you to manage digital transformation, risk management and people leadership - all critical pillars of Change Management.

For business leaders looking to upskill their staff on the principles and practical aspects of this discipline, the certification will give you peace of mind that any organisational change will be managed effectively. 

For those new to the role or for those with experience but want to understand the ‘why’, the Foundation course offers an introduction to the principles and practices associated with this area of business.

This course is for:

• Professionals pursuing the Change Management Practitioner certificate – for which the Change Management Foundation certificate is a pre-requisite.

The combined Foundation and Practitioner course is recommended for anyone who wants to develop a thorough understanding and practical experience of Change Management. At the end of the course, candidates will be required to complete an exam.

The format of the exam differs based on the levels undertake, with the Foundation course exam being multiple choice and the combined course including objective questions. 

We recommend that you read the ASPIRE Change Management preparation material which will be provided to you upon confirmation of your booking.

This should take approximately three-four hours and includes an extensive overview of Change Management and sample exam style questions.

There is approximately 1 hour of homework to be completed in the evenings of the first two days of the Foundation Course. This consists mainly of sample questions along with answers and explanations. We find that this improves the outcome and consolidates the day’s learning.

The Practitioner aspect of the course builds on this learning and explores topics in more depth for an enhanced understanding.

This 1 day course has been designed specifically for change practitioners to address common change management issues within an agile environment. This course takes a very practical approach and uses complex scenarios for the exercises.
